ALBANY BRINGS HOME "MOST IMPROVED CHAPTER" AWARD

On July 4th weekend of 2010 The Homenetmen of Albany participated in the 2010 Homenetmen Olympics hosted by the New Jersey Chapter. The team attended the tournament with mens seniors basketball team with 12 athletes. Our first game was against Florida. We won that game by double digits. Our next opponent was against a tough Boston A team. We lost that game by double digits. The next day we played against Washington. That game ended in us loosing by 5 points in double overtime. People said it was the most exciting basketball game of the tournament. Although we did not win the tournament Albany was awarded the most improved chapter of 2010. “I am proud of my guys” quoted yeghpayr Antranig. “ Our team has come a long way and we look forward to next year with a stronger and better then ever team”.
